What Can I Expect From
 Knauss Kickstart?

Knauss Kickstart is designed for go-getters ready to take the next step in their educational journey. Designed to kickstart your application and admission process for the Knauss School of Business Graduate Programs at the University of San Diego, this event is perfect for those looking to accelerate their careers now! The benefits of attending are:

• You will meet other potential members of your cohort, 

• We will waive certain application requirements (see below for details)

• You will be eligible to receive a conditional admissions decision by the end of the event

• Those who are admitted can receive a $5,000 scholarship*

*To qualify for the scholarship, you must start a Graduate Business Degree program in Spring or Fall 2025 and not be eligible for a full tuition waiver, such as Yellow Ribbon or the University tuition remission program. Students must meet minimum admission requirements to be considered for the scholarship. All students will be considered for a $5,000 scholarship at this event.

9:30 a.m. - Roundtable Discussion & Knauss School of Business Tour

10:30 a.m. - Admission Decisions

Knauss Kickstart Application Requirements

You must submit the following before attending the Knauss Kickstart event.

Required

• USD Graduate Application
  • Official Transcripts
  • Personal Statement
  • Resume
• One semester of college-level statistics with a grade of “B-” or better for MSBA applicants.
• One semester of college-level calculus with a grade of "C" or better for MSF applicants.
• MBA Math for MBA applicants. Additionally, MBA Math is required for MSRE applicants who do not have an undergraduate degree in a business major.

Optional

• Letter(s) of recommendation (MSRE Excluded)

Waived by the Event

• Application fee (a savings of $125)
• Two letters of recommendation
• GMAT/GRE Score

Additionally, this event is open to in-person attendees only. To be given an admissions decision on October 12, you must complete your application before the event. If you do not complete the required elements before the event, you can only receive a conditional admittance.
