Join Karen Henken, MBA, a Stanford-trained business leader, Fulbright Fellow and award-winning educator, for an inspiring conversation on building purpose-driven enterprises that thrive across borders. Drawing on her decades of experience in business development at global tech companies such as Atari, Sybase and Sun Microsystems and her leadership in designing USD’s Master of Arts in Social Innovation, Karen will share practical strategies for connecting markets, creating meaningful partnerships and launching initiatives that drive social change.
She will also share stories from her work in emerging markets, including Rwanda, Vietnam, and Colombia, as well as her service on the boards of mission-driven organizations, including Kitchens for Good and Voices of Our City Choir. Participants will gain insights into how entrepreneurial thinking and global collaboration can spark transformation both in local communities and around the world.
