What Can I Expect from Admit On The Spot?

USD's graduating seniors of the Class of 2023* will be able to bypass certain elements of the traditional application process during this application workshop. Graduate Business Admission advisors will be available to answer questions and walk you through submitting the application. 

Students who attend Admit On The Spot are guaranteed a $5,000 scholarship (or $2,500 for MACC/MTAX)!**

Admit on the Spot 2023

Full-Time MBA - Completed in 17-22 months, the Full-Time Knauss MBA at the University of San Diego is a great way to hone your skill sets, absorb new ones and network with future business leaders, data-wonks and strategists. Become the leader you were meant to be at one of the best full-time MBA programs in California.

Master’s in Business Analytics — Learn to apply the power of data for decision-making in a business context. Business analyst jobs are expected to grow 14% between 2020 and 2030 (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics).

Master’s in Finance — If you have an aptitude for numbers and analysis, a graduate finance degree can prepare you for a wide range of high-earning career opportunities.

Master’s in Supply Chain Management — Master logistics on a global stage with our highly-ranked hybrid MSSCM program. Note: Only USD seniors majoring in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering can qualify to waive work experience requirement.

Master's in Real Estate —Build a lasting foundation, level up your skills and construct the next chapter of your success story. We prepare students to thrive in every corner of the industry, from commercial construction management and real estate brokerage to sustainable development.

Master's in Accounting or Taxation —With an MACC or MTAX degree, you'll forecast budgets at the Big 4, advise clients as a licensed CPA or do anything in between.

*This event is for domestic students only, as the deadline for international applicants has passed.

ADMIT ON THE SPOT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Resume
  • 3.0 GPA or above in Business or STEM field 
  • Master's in Business Analytics: Must have passed Statistics with B- or above
  • Master's in Finance: Must have passed Calculus with C or above
  • Master's in Supply Chain Management: Must graduate with a major or minor degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering to go directly into the MSSCM program
  • Master's in Accountancy or Taxation: Must be majoring in accounting

IF ABOVE REQUIREMENTS ARE MET, WE WILL WAIVE:

  • Application fee (a savings of $125)
  • Two Letters of Recommendation 
  • GMAT/GRE Score
  • Transcripts (Central admissions will automatically pull your USD transcripts.) 
  • Written Essay
  • Interview

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring your unofficial transcript, GPA and resume.

Qualified students will be conditionally admitted on the spot. Students will then receive formal admission to their program of interest after official review.
